REUNIONS | Former classmates, families plan to meet

Carson-Baptist family reunion will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday at Woodland Park in McDonald. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children 4 through 11. Those 3 and under are free. Chaney High School Class of 1959 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Aug. 10 at Eat’n Park in Austintown. Classmates and spouses are welcome.

East High School January and June Classes of 1944 will have a reunion Sept. 3 at Mr. Anthony’s, 7440 South Ave., Boardman. A social will begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6. Ellsworth School’s 76th annual reunion will begin at 12:30 p.m. Saturday with a covered dish lunch at the Ellsworth VFW Hall, Ellsworth Road, Ellsworth Township. All teachers and students who attended Ellsworth schools before the consolidation with Berlin Center are invited to attend. Families and classmates are welcome. Take a covered dish and your own table service. Beverages will be furnished. Also, take something for a white elephant auction.

Niles McKinley High School Class of 1950 is planning a 60 year reunion picnic for Aug. 28 at the home of Joe and Mary Ann Leonard, 1162 N. East River Road, Lake Milton. A picnic lunch will be provided at $12 per person. Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1955 will have its 55-year reunion on Sept. 3 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. A cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 7.
