Drs. Mark and Rudy Braydich of Braydich Dental, 45 E. Liberty St., will present Hubbard Public Library with a check for $12,000 at 10 a.m. Wednesday at their office. Daisy Evans, president of the library board of trustees, will accept the donation of funds. The money was raised through the Smiles for Charity event sponsored by Braydich Dental from March 1 through June 30.
Arraignment
BROOKFIELD
Bond was set at $55,250 during arraignment for a 52-year-old Brookfield man Monday. Ronald Wilcox was arraigned in Trumbull County Eastern District Court on two counts of aggravated- vehicular assault, two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence and one count of assured-cleared distance.
Wilcox’s vehicle struck the rear of a car driven by a 23-year-old Youngstown man about midnight Saturday on state Route 7, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol
The man’s car had broken down, and a 20-year-old Hubbard man stopped to help. The Hubbard man was working in between that vehicle and his own. Both men were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Siren testing
Hermitage, Pa.
The Hermitage, Pa., Fire Department will conduct its monthly test of the area’s weather-warning sirens at 10 a.m. Thursday. The test will include activation of the Clark, Farrell, Sharpsville, West Middlesex, and Wheatland weather sirens. Citizens are asked to disregard the sirens during the test.
GPS systems stolen

Thefts from vehicles have left a few residents of Vollmer Drive without their GPS units. Three cars on Vollmer Drive, one on David Court and one on Black Oak Lane were broken into between noon and 3 p.m. Saturday. Of the five break-ins, four had GPS systems that were taken.
Appreciation night

Horizon Landscaping Inc. recently completed the donated installation of a fire pit, boccie court and a sandbox to Logan Swim and Tennis Club. The club will sponsor an appreciation night for Horizon Landscaping from 6 to 11 p.m. Friday.
During the event, Horizon will raffle a donated fire pit. Golden Dawn Concessions will remain open later that evening, and the club will provide s’mores for children.
