Sharon drowning victim found

After a more than three-hour search, the body of a 15-year-old boy was found in the Shenango River.
Capt. Brian Scarmack, of the Sharon Fire Department, said the Farrell teen was swimming in the river with two other children, ages 9 and 11, just before 3 p.m. Monday when a strong current pulled him under.
Scarmack said the teen’s body was found in about 12 feet of water by divers at about 6:30 p.m. near the Budd Street Bridge.
The fire department wouldn’t confirm the teen’s name, but According to Vindicator news partner WFMJ the victim’s name was Brandin Norris.
