Antique gun show at Harmony Museum
HARMONY, Pa.
The sixth annual antique firearms show and sale will be presented Aug. 14 by Harmony Museum at Stewart Hall, 218 Mercer St., in the National Historic Landmark District. Admission is $5. Lunch and refreshments will be available.
The show will feature 18th- and 19th-century guns and accoutrements, especially those made or used in Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio.
Collectors will exhibit firearms made before 1898, including many long rifles, and there will be exhibits of high-quality percussion hunting and target rifles made in the classic Pennsylvania style by Harmony gunsmith Charles Flowers in the 19th century.
Visitors are encouraged to take items from their collections for critiques by exhibiting experts.
An additional fee will be charged for a guided tour of the museum.
