Painting selected for juried show

A painting by Cheryl Summers of Poland has been selected for the 2010 Juried Ohio Watercolor Society Exhibition at the Canton Museum of Art, 1001 Market Ave. North Canton. The exhibition opens Sept. 4 and run through Oct. 31.

The highly competitive show attracted 276 entries, with 77 selected.

It is juried by John Salminen of Michigan, a member of many art societies, including the American Watercolor Society.

After the exhibition at the Canton Museum of Art closes, a traveling exhibition will tour the state.
