Miss Venglarcik, Mr. Drake to wed in historic mill

POLAND

John and Margaret Venglarcik of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Marie Venglarcik of Alexandria, Va., and Gary Drake, also of Alexandria, a son of the late Ernest and Esther Drake of Newton, Kan.

The couple will be united in marriage at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 11 at the historic Cabell’s Mill at Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, Centreville, Va., with a reception immediately following the ceremony.

Miss Vanglarcik received a bachelor’s degree from Miami University and a master’s degree in social administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University. She is a social worker for the District of Columbia’s Child and Family Services Agency.

Mr. Drake is the manager of creative services for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.
