Eagle award

Brendan Paull, son of Gary and Katharine Paull of Boardman, recently received his Eagle Scout award at a court-of-honor ceremony at Boardman United Methodist Church, where he is a member of Troop 46.

Scoutmaster is Eric Grabman, and Brendan has earned 23 merit badges.

His Eagle Scout service project involved transforming an outdoor area at Kirkmere Elementary School into an outdoor learning center with the construction of gardens and benches. The area will be used by the staff and students to teach and learn about nature.

Brendan, who has two brothers, Kyle and Bryce, who also are Eagle scouts, graduated from Boardman High School and will be attending Ohio State University.

DOCTORATE

Physical therapy

Lisa Davis recently received her doctor of physical therapy degree from the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati.

Davis is a 2003 graduate of Canfield High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in health sciences with distinction from Ohio State University.

She will begin working at the Drake Center in Cincinnati as a physical therapist.

Davis is the daughter of John and Toni Davis, formerly of Canfield.
