GARDEN CLUBS | This week's meetings announced

TUESDAY

Daphne will have a picnic at 11:30 a.m. at the home of Earline Gotthardt, with Alberta Klepper and Barb Guzell as co-hostesses. The speaker will be Julie Stone, park ranger. Her talk will be about Berlin Lake.

Ikebana will have a picnic and plant exchange to be hosted by Linda Vuletich at her home on state Route 534, Berlin Center.

THURSDAY

Sweetbriar will meet for a picnic. Hostesses will be Sandy Mitchell, Beverly Sharnekt and Pat Lippatt.

UPCOMING

East Garden Club will have a meeting at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 17 at the Golden Rye Restaurant, 10745 Main St., New Middletown. Irene Parker will be the hostess.

Garden club events are published Sunday. The deadline is noon Thursday.
