Ursuline Center in Canfield opens new labyrinth

The Ursuline Center in Canfield is hosting a free open house for area residents to discover its new labyrinth May 16 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

More than 150 people are expected to attend the event which kicks-off use of the new labyrinth for the warm weather season.

Starting at 2 p.m. and every quarter hour until 3:30 p.m., 10-minute presentations will be offered for anyone who’s interested in learning the how, what, why, when and where of labyrinths.

After each presentation, participants can explore the labyrinth on their own or with a facilitator. Those who wish to can just visit the labyrinth without attending the presentations.

Refreshments and the chance to reflect on the unique experience of walking the labyrinth will also be offered.

The labyrinth is designed to be used by families, groups and individuals of all ages and religions. The labyrinth at the Ursuline Center is handicapped accessible and has adequate parking. It is open daily dawn to dusk.
