Nick Timko had a double and two RBIs to lead Western Reserve over Windham, 8-1, in a high school baseball game on Thursday.
Adam Smith and John Rosati each doubled, and John Gora added two hits for the Blue Devils (14-7).
Jordan White pitched all seven innings, striking out five and giving up just two hits and no earned runs.

CANTON
Fitch’s Anthony Parris broke up Alex Sedon’s no-hit bid with a fourth-inning single. Sedon (3-1) had 11 strikeouts.
Tom Monnett and Evan Knott each had two hits for GlenOak (12-6, 7-1 Federal League). Chris Miller (2-4) took the loss for the Falcons (4-12, 0-8).

Dan Ferguson pitched a complete game, giving up just one run on two hits and striking out 16. Mineral Ridge (8-9) had runners on first and third in the fourth, both reaching on errors, then a wild pitch gave Ridge the early advantage. Chaney’s Kyle Stanton had an RBI single in the top of the fifth to tie the game at 1-1. In the bottom of the inning, Ridge took the lead on a Ferguson fly ball to left field that was dropped. Chaney’s Eddie Rovnak got the loss, but had five strikeouts and didn’t give up an earned run.

Mickey Manser had a home run and two RBIs for the Warriors. Scott Rinaldi added a double for West Branch (13-7, 6-4 Northeastern Buckeye Conference).

Mike Lopuchovsky had a double and single and three RBIs, Dan Helsel had a double and single and two RBIs and Zach Palumbo had a double and single for Hubbard (18-2).
Zach Merrell (4-0) allowed nine hits before being relieved by Robert Vargo in the fourth.
Ronnie Bovo had three singles and an RBI, while Dylon DeJane had a double and single and two RBIs for Springfield (16-5).

Freshman Chuckie Anderson had a three-run inside-the-park home run in a five-run sixth inning for Jackson-Milton (6-13).
Sophomore John Gherardi had a double and single and four RBIs, sophomore Ryan Nagy had a double and single and two RBIs and Josh Kramer, also a sophomore, had a triple and double and an RBI for the Blue Jays.

Justin Clements tripled while Steve Cardwell and Cory Wingerter doubled for the Polar Bears (16-1, 8-0 Federal League). For the Spartans (6-11, 1-6), Dan Popio hit a two-run double.
