Resident excels at Grove City College tennis
Poland Seminary graduate Anthony Rosselli captured his first career PAC titles as he prevailed in third singles and third doubles.
The freshman student won the singles title with a 6-1 and 6-3 final round decision over Waynesburg College. In doubles he teamed up with Caleb Fuller from Columbus/Indiana and took the victory 8-6 over Waynesburg College in the championship match.
Rosselli helped lead the Grove City Wolverines to their 20th consecutive Presidents Athletic Conference title and was named to the PAC first team all conference for 2010.

The Poland high school’s Monday and Wednesday baseball games against Canfield will be carried live on the Internet at www.cardinalradio.com at 7 p.m.
Poland baseball on television
Monday’s game will be broadcast from Cene Park and Wednesday’s game will broadcast from Eastwood Field.
Monday’s Canfield-Poland high school baseball game will be televised by MyYTV at 10 p.m. The game, which begins at 7 p.m., will be at Cene Park.
Youth bowling meeting set
The annual meeting for the Youngstown USBC Youth Association will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Wedgewood Lanes.
USBC-certified youth members are urged to attend, with all youth age 14 and over eligible to vote on issues. Also, one adult representative from each youth-certified league is permitted to attend. Among the agenda items will be election of youth association directors for next year and the adoption of new by-laws.
