ASSOCIATIONS

American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday in the caf at Fellows Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown. Mill Creek Chapter of American Business Women’s Association will meet at 6 p.m. May 11 for a social. At 6:30 a dinner of Swiss chicken, Italian sausage with peppers and onions, potatoes, vegetable, salad and dessert will be served; cost is $17. The speaker will be Paula Campbell, an Aflac agent, whose theme is “Benefit Options to Meet Your Needs.” There will be election of officers. McDonald Baseball Association will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the senior citizens room at the post office building.

Girard Band Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the high school cafeteria.

McDonald Music Boosters will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the high school.

CLASSES

Campbell Memorial High School January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s, U.S. Route 224 in Boardman. All classmates are welcome.

Chaney High School January and June 1942 Alumni will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s in Austintown. No reservations are required. All classmates and guests are welcome.

East High School Alumni Association will meet at 2 p.m. May 8 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 827 Wilson Ave., Youngstown. All classmates are welcome.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Landmark Restaurant, 7424 Market St., Boardman. All classmates and guests are welcome.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart in Canfield for a noon luncheon meeting. The program will be “Women’s Financial Tips 101,” and the speaker will be Debra Moore-Bryan. The hostesses will be Karen Dennison and Lisa Velker.

LEAGUES

Boardman-Poland Junior Women’s League will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Springfield Grille for a spring social. Members are asked to take a favorite book they have read in the past year to promote literacy. St. Michael Altar Guild will install officers at the 6 p.m. Monday meeting. The benediction will be by Deacon Tom Soich. Dinners of Swiss chicken or stuffed pork chops will follow in the parish center. The cost is $18. Birthdays will be acknowledged, and there will be a fun-gift exchange. Guests are welcome.

St. Monica Guild will have a new-member installation at the 10 a.m. Mass on May 16 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church followed by a breakfast. Over-40 Singles meets for a social from 6 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday at Leetonia Library on Walnut Street. Any single person over 40 is invited.
