Gaines-Gorby plans revealed by parents

Announcing the engagement of Erica Gaines and Michael Gorby, both of 9003 Parlor Drive, Ladson, S.C., are their parents.

Miss Gaines is the daughter of Tonya Gaines of Sharpsville, Pa., and Mark Gaines of Struthers. She graduated from Sharon Regional School of Radiography in Sharon, Pa., and is employed with the Medical University of South Carolina as an angio specialist in Charleston.

Mr. Gorby, son of Ray and Laura Gorby of 121 Franklin Ave., Niles, attended Youngstown State University and graduated from the Charleston Fire Academy in Charleston, S.C. He is employed as a firefighter for the City of Charleston Fire Department.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. Aug. 7 at the First United Methodist Church of Niles, and a reception in their honor will follow at Ciminero’s Banquet Centre in Niles. Invitations will be issued for both events.
