Bullock files for divorce

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Sandra Bullock has filed for divorce from her husband, Jesse James, citing discord or conflict of personalities.

Divorce papers were filed Friday in Austin, Texas, where Bullock has a home. The divorce filing says the couple has no child under 18 years of age who is entitled to financial support.

In a story posted Wednesday on People magazine's website, the Oscar-winning actress reveals that she and James adopted a 3 1/2-month-old boy, Louis Bardo Bullock, who was born in New Orleans. She says she'll be adopting as a single parent.

James and Bullock separated in March after five years of marriage, following reports that he had been unfaithful.
