Youngstown cops looking for man who robbed South Side shoe store

YOUNGSTOWN — Police are looking for a man who robbed a South Side shoe store at gunpoint.

According to police, a black man believed to be in his teens wearing a black ski mask, blue and black checkered shirt and dark blue jeans walked into the Shoe Warehouse on Midlothian Boulevard just before just before 5 p.m. Monday and pointed a gun at the front desk employee. He demanded cash be placed in a bag.

The employee handed the man all the money from the cash register, and the thief ran out of the store.
