Channeling the wrong spirit

Channeling the wrong spirit

Regarding Milan Paurich’s review of “Blithe Spirit” last Sunday, I’m not an official theatre critic, but I know what I enjoy. “Blithe Spirit’ was great for me and my wife.

It’s community theatre. If you expect Tony Award casting and performance, drive East 400 miles.

My feeling is that Terry Shears did an excellent job as Charles, and I understand he’s a consistent Playhouse veteran.

Give some respect to somebody who put his heart and soul into a portrayal.

Talk about “mean-spirited.”
