International Children’s Choir coming to Canfield

As part of its 2009-10 U.S. tour, World Help will present Children of the World International Children’s Choir, which is composed of orphaned and disadvantaged children from various countries, at Old North Church, 7105 Herbert Road in Canfield, on Sunday. The choir, sponsored by World Help, is touring the United States. It will be part of both morning services at Old North (9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.) and will give a full concert at 6 p.m. Its energetic program will include songs in English and native languages, as well as personal testimonies. The choir’s purpose is to raise awareness of the need for clean water in developing countries. Sunday’s concert will include a video presentation on the crisis.
