Boardman cops investigating car break-ins

BOARDMAN — Police are investigating a series of car break-ins in the township during the weekend.

Six vehicles were reported broken into on Friday with cash and loose change taken. Those occurred on Southern Boulevard, Terrace Drive and Homestead Drive.

On Sunday, 15 vehicles were reported broken into on Hudson, Danbury and Prestwick drives and Hillman Way.

Compact discs, cash, loose change, a DVD remote control and stereos were taken. Thieves broke car windows to get inside.
