“RuPaul’s Drag Race: (9 p.m., Logo): “RuPaul’s Drag Race” has been atop our list of guilty pleasures this season, but all the fabulous fun comes to an end when the final three contestants don their wigs and stilettos for the final showdown. May the best woman — er, man — win.

“American Experience: My Lai” (9 p.m., PBS): “My Lai,” the latest installment of “American Experience,” recalls one of the most gruesome chapters of the Vietnam War, in which a company of U.S. soldiers stormed a village and murdered more than 300 unarmed civilians. The documentary offers eyewitness accounts from surviving soldiers.

Buckcherry concert tickets to go on sale

AUSTINTOWN

Tickets go on sale Saturday for rock band Buckcherry, which will perform in concert July 9 at Club Gossip, 1743 S. Raccoon Road. Tickets are $35 and will be available at Biketown Ink in Austintown, Chili’s in Boardman and online at surfthevalley.com. This is an all-ages show. Opening acts will be announced at a later date.

Spyro Gyra will top downtown jazz fest

YOUNGSTOWN

Multiple-Grammy winners Spyro Gyra and David Benoit will headline a jazz festival July 10 in downtown Youngs-town that will include four other bands. The festival will be at the intersection of Federal and Market streets, which will be blocked off. Tickets are $15 (free for children under 12) and go on sale Friday. Tickets also will be available through all Ticketmaster outlets (service fees will apply).

The festival will begin at 4 p.m. with beverages, food and a wine and cheese tasting. The show starts at 5:30 p.m. with the headliners taking the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Play looks at life in the suburbs

Kent State Trumbull Theatre will present Eric Bogosian’s “SubUrbia” at 8 p.m. Friday and May 7, directed by Daniel Parsons. A preshow event with live music will begin at 6 p.m. “SubUrbia” is about how limiting suburban life can be, and how — regardless of how talented its inhabitants are — it can trap people and squash their ambitions.
