SENIOR CITIZENS | Meetings, activities announced


Commercial Intertech Retirees will meet at noon Tuesday at St. Mark Church fellowship hall on Logan Way. Lou Pizzulo will preside, and reports will be given by Gloria Wielbruda and Roberta Shick. There will be a Chinese auction and lunch. Hostesses will be Jean Reid, Jeannette Armeni and Jenny Armeni. All retirees are welcome. Illnesses should be reported to Connie Biero at (330) 788-2340.

Erie-Mahoning Valley Railroad Association will meet at noon Tuesday at Belleria Pizzeria, 3460 S. Meridian Road, Cornersburg. Reports will be given, and birthdays will be recognized. All railroad retirees and their spouses are welcome.

Girard Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the center, 16 N. State St. Bingo will be played after the business session.

Liberty Friends will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Liberty Presbyterian Church for fellowship, cards and games. Members are to take a sack lunch; coffee will be provided. Guests are welcome.

Bridge, 500, chess and checkers will be played when Martha Lupse 50-Plus Card and Game Club meets from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Room 106 at Poland United Methodist Church. Marilyn Boggs will give the devotion, and there will be a pizza party at noon. No affiliation with the church is required for participation. For information call (330) 757-1980.

St. Christine Seniors will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the parish center with Laura Dulay presiding. Lunch will be served by Helen Greiner, Neta Miller and Judy Janik. There will be attendance prizes, a 50-50 drawing, cards and bingo.

Sts. Peter and Paul Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Ukrainian Center. Officers serving a luncheon will be Ann Smith, Theresa Vivacqua, Pat Hoffman and Laura Dulay. Dues of $7 will be collected.
