The Ladies of Charity will be pouring tea for their guests and serving light refreshments during their annual Tea for Green fundraiser scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. May 2 at the Ursuline Center, 4280 Shields Road.
A highlight of the event will be a portrayal of Jackie Kennedy Onassis by the speaker, Carol Starre-Kmiecik of Lakewood.
There also will be a basket raffle.
A donation will be accepted at the door for the tea, and the proceeds will be distributed to the following charities supported by the group: Potter’s Wheel, Rescue Mission, Mill Creek Children’s Center, St. Vincent de Paul dining hall, Second Harvest Food Bank and the Potential Development School for Autism.
Jacqueline Price is serving as chairwoman for the event, and the co-chairwoman is Dee Balogh.
