Family honors Mr., Mrs. Pacella on anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Mario Pacella, 101 Rocky Ledge Drive, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary during a dinner party hosted by their family April 24 at the Boardman home of a daughter and son-in-law, Jodi and Tony Pacella.

Their family also includes Lisa and Tim McGiffin of Poland and Dan and Patty Pacella of Canfield.

The celebration will be continued during a family vacation in August to Sandbridge, Va.

The former Frances Silvestri and Mr. Pacella were married April 23, 1960, at St. Nicholas Church where they are members. They also are members of St. Luke Church in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Pacella retired in 2000 from Farmers National Bank in Poland were she was a customer service representative. She is a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Pacentrano Club.

Mr. Pacella retired as a mill worker in 1987 from J&L Steel in Youngstown, and began working in construction in 1995. He is a member of the Pacentrano Men’s Club and Youngstown Morra League.
