Miss Scanlon and Mr. O’Connell plan July wedding

Announcing the engagement of Katie-Nell Scanlon and Steven Charles O’Connell, both of 1801 N. Flagler Drive, West Palm Beach, Fla., is the bride-elect’s mother, Judy N. Scanlon of 1455 Windel Way.

Miss Scanlon is also the daughter of the late James R. Scanlon. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Ind., and is an account executive for Windstream Communications in West Palm Beach.

Her fianc , a son of Dennis and Pam O’Connell of 23663 Hearthside Drive, Deer Park, Ill., graduated from Western Illinois University and is second vice president at Northern Trust Investments in West Palm Beach.

The couple will be married at 2 p.m. July 17 during an open ceremony at St. Michael Church, Canfield. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield.
