Ronald and Sandra Mihalko of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Anne Mihalko of Roanoke, Va., and Philip David Hobbins, also of Roanoke, a son of David and Deborah Hobbins of Jeannette, Pa.

The couple have chosen Glenwood Christian Fellowship for their June 12 wedding. Invitations will be extended for the 1:30 p.m. ceremony and for an evening reception at The Embassy in Youngstown.

The bride-to-be earned her doctor of pharmacy degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. She is an internal medicine clinical pharmacist at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke.

The prospective groom graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is an engineer for Emerson Process Management in Pittsburgh.
