ASSOCIATIONS

Gold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter M, will have supper at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman, and a meeting at 6. Plans will be finalized for a garage sale May 6-8 at 1141 Paulin Road, off South Avenue Extension. All bikers and co-riders are invited to attend the meeting and to join the organization. Mahoning Valley Council of the International Reading Association will meet May 4 at Antone’s Banquet Centre, 8578 Market St. Ext., Boardman. Doors open for browse time with vendors and resource information at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6. Following the installation of officers, dinner will be at 6:30, and Susan Stevens Crummel, award-winning author, will be the speaker at 7:15. AUXILIARIES

Flora McDonald Auxiliary will meet at 1 p.m. May 1 for dessert at the home of Mary St. Clair.

Sulmona Valley Ladies Auxiliary will meet Tuesday at the clubroom to plan for the May 25 mother-daughter banquet. Hostesses will be Ulderica Centofanti, Ellen Hall and Virginia Matijasic. CLUBS

American Hungarian Club will meet at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the clubhouse. The agenda will include discussion of a stuffed cabbage rolls sale on May 15. Beginning in May, meetings be at 7 p.m. Mondays.

College Club of Sharon will have a luncheon and meeting at noon May 8 at the Avalon Golf and Country Club in Buhl Park. Alane Jewell will present a program on “Views and Voices.” Hospitality will be by Sally Young, Wanda Marks and Carole Barker. Luncheon reservations are to be made with Young by May 3. GRANGES

Dublin Grange, 6599 Fairground Blvd., will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday for judging of a baking contest and an Earth Day program. Members are reminded to take old telephone books for recycling at Canfield Middle School. The young people of the grange will sponsor a public square dance May 8 at the grange hall. Admission will be $5, and refreshments will be served.

GUILDS

Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild has scheduled a meeting of the Southington So-Sews for 9:30 a.m. Monday at Southington Christian Church, 3285 state Route 434, Southington, for a wool rabbit demonstration by Dot Porter.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

Friends of Poland Library will have a spring luncheon at 11:30 a.m. May 4 followed by a brief business session. Entertainment will be by a string duo. Reservations are to be made by Saturday by sending a check for $11, payable to the Friends, to Marion Gillette.

POLITICAL CLUBS

Girard Men’s Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Parkwood Youth Center.

Nurses Ministry will host a concert featuring James Ferguson and the New Hope Mass Choir at 4 p.m. Sunday at New Hope Church, 437 Albert St. The theme will be “A Healthy Heart Worship Toward God.

SINGLES

Over-40 Singles meets for a social from 6 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday at Leetonia Library on Walnut Street. Any single person over 40 is invited to attend.

SOCIETIES

Audubon Society of Mahoning Valley will meet Tuesday at Mill Creek MetroParks Farm on state Route 46, south of Canfield, for a social at 6:30 p.m. At 7 p.m. Larry Rosche and Judy Semroc, naturalists with the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, will present a program on the birds and bugs that inhabit the Mill Creek Wildlife Sanctuary.
