April 8

Burglary: A television, X-Box and $1,500 in cash were stolen from a home in the 80 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Attempted breaking and entering: A rock was thrown through a glass door at the Meating Place, 4282 New Road.

Criminal damaging: A rear window of a vehicle was smashed out with a large rock at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Counterfeit currency: Six $5 bills were passed at Conroy’s Express, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle alarm system was tampered with at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft: A credit card was reported stolen after it had been used to purchase two $1,500 gift cards at the Austintown Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. The owner, a resident of the ten block of Crabwood Court, was also contacted by Hermitage, Pa. police that the gift cards had been redeemed at the Wal-Mart there.

Theft: Jewelry was given to a customer in error. Only a partial amount was returned at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

April 9

Drug Offense/Warrants: Police arrested two men on warrants and a drug charge in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard. Michael Hover, Jr., 19, 1854 Paisley St., Apt. 10, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant on a theft charge and was also charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument, a syringe. Michael Pendland, 22, 261 1/2 S. Main Street was arrested on a warrant on a charge of breaking and entering.

Disorderly conduct: James Campana,39, 4823 Westchester Drive, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Checks reported stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road were used at Wal-Mart.

Theft: $39.69 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Two stereos were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges to an account were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Theft: Matt D. Schall, 44, 37 N. Turner Rd., Austintown was arrested for theft of scrap metal at Austintown Metal Works, 45 Victoria Road.

Assault: A woman is a suspect in an assault at a home in the 200 block of S. Raccoon Road.

April 10

Warrant: Caprice Cornwell, 19, 369 Marmion Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment at I-76 and State Route 14.

Disorderly conduct: Brian Grandon, 29, 219 Scott Ave., Niles was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

Disorderly conduct: Michelle Childers, 26, 1650 Laurie Drive was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.

Burglary: A voice recorder was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Timberlane Street.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.

Warrant: Kenny Childs, 25,737 E. Avendale, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear to pay fines at Mahoning Ave. and Meridian Road.

Theft: $24.48 in fuel and $5.30 in cigarettes were taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road by a male suspect.

Warrant: Tiant Bright, 34, 450 Idora Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a felony warrant from Lorain County on a indictment for felonious assault, assault and obstruction of official business at State Route 11 at Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Cody Hilton, 19, 712 Notre Dame Lane, Austintown was arrested and issued a summons for criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.

April 11

Attempted abduction: An unknown male attempted to pull a 16-year-old female out of a vehicle at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Passing bad checks: A man is a victim of bad checks at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.

Burglary: Electronic equipment, jewelry, coins and prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Purdue Ave.

Drug offense: Abigail Patek, 20, 2509 Walden Court, Youngstown was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 20 block of Lexington Place.

Theft: A man is accused of taking the victim’s ATM card at a home in the 2000 block of S. Main Street.

April 12

Criminal damaging: Michael Ruberto, 36, 6414 Elk Road, Canfield, was issued a summons for criminal damaging for allegedly punching and breaking a bathroom mirror at Bill’s Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.

Burglary: A television and other items, along with an ATM card were taken from a home in the 2000 block of S. Main Street.

Criminal damaging: Random shots from a firearm struck a residence in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

Theft: Checks were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Timberlane.

Theft: Glasses and a GPS were stolen from an unlocked auto in the 4000 block of Warwick south.

Fraud: An ATM account was accessed and $475 was taken at an apartment in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Theft: A resident of the 1000 block of Old Farm Trail reported his son had stolen $1,650 from him by forging checks.

Theft: A woman stole meat from Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.

Breaking and entering: A garage was entered in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Drive and four tires and wheels were stolen.

Theft: Two taillight assemblies were stolen from Fyda Freightliner, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.

Theft: A GPS was stolen from an auto at a home in the 3000 block of Johnson Farm Drive.

Fraud: Unauthorized withdrawals were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Country Ridge Avenue.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was spray painted at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

April 13

Recovered property: A pink and black BMX bicycle was recovered at New Road and Cider Mill Crossing.

Barking dog: Police issued a summons to Mark Piroch, 41, 128 N. Main Street for a barking dog.

Assault: A man is accused of assault on the lawn area of the 1000 block of Compass West.

Theft: Jeffrey W. Carroll, 35, 3790 Frederick Street, Youngstown, was issued a summons alleging theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. He was found with a 15-count package of razors on him.

Recovered property: An Ohio Direction card was recovered.

Menacing: A victim was threatened by an another employee at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Demetrius Tinker, 29, 11 Kenneth Street, Youngstown on a warrant for theft of $370 of food at Rachel’s Restaurant, 3657 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A shotgun was stolen from a home in the 5000 block of Baker Street.

April 14

Theft: Jewelry was taken at an apartment in the 4000 block of Pembrook Road and pawned at Austintown Pawn.

Telecommunications harassment: A man is accused of telecommunications harassment at a home in the 600 block of Duke Circle.

Fraud: A check scam to Dubai was reported at a home in the 1000 block of N. Edgehill Avenue.

Theft: A credit card was stolen and used at a home in the 6000 block of Fairview Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Maria Barnette, 30, 4853 Westchester Drive, No. 201 on a warrant for failure to appear on a traffic charge.

Theft: Police issued a summons alleging theft to Keenan Clark, 44, 626 Glenwood Ave., Youngstown for wrist watch valued at $12.91 at Wal-Mart.

Attempted auto theft: A column was peeled on a Ford pick-up at King Kar Motors, 4125 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: Cash was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.

Theft: A wallet was stolen from an auto at IT&T, 1030 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A cobra CB radio was stolen from Vinylume, 3754 Hendricks Road.

April 15

Theft: Five signs were stolen from Great Clips, 6006 Mahoning Ave.

Recovered property: A wallet was returned to it’s female owner at Trumbull Supply, 1040 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A rug cleaner was stolen from Rental Coral, 5020 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: John Kimbrough, 37, 230 E. Boston Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence at his place of employment, P.T. 1, 650 N. Meridian Road.

Theft: A purse was stolen at Comprehensive Behavioral Health, 104 Javit Court.

Receiving stolen property: Lisa Roberts, 42, 10 N. Glenellen Ave., Youngstown was arrested at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Center, 5211 Mahoning Ave., for allegedly receiving stolen property.

Fraud: $709.75 in unauthorized credit card charges were reported at a home in the 5000 block of London Court.

April 16

Theft: An I-pod was taken from an auto at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.

Theft: A computer and personal items were stolen from an auto at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive.

Attempted breaking and entering: A window screen was cut at Dick Adgates, 4195 Mahoning Ave.

Fraud: A Visa card was opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 5000 block of Argonne Drive.

Warrant: Wendy S. Fassoulas, 34, 4710 E. Webb Road, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for a compliance hearing.

Theft: Leon C. Reynolds, 36, 4884 Westchester Drive, Austintown was arrested for theft at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave. He is charged with taking $11.57 in food.

Theft: Andrea Davidson, 35, 1974 Connecticut Ave., Youngstown was arrested at Wal-Mart and charged with drug abuse and possession of criminal tools.

Assault: Two males were involved in an assault at Wedgewood Park, 1671 Lancaster Drive.

Theft: A man is a suspect in a theft at a home in the 1000 block of Maplecrest Avenue.

Warrant: Roxanne Witchey, 32, 2615 Ella Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant alleging receiving stolen property and misuse of credit card at U.S. Route 62 and state Route 225.

April 17

Warrant: Robert R. Santos, 31, 327 N. Roanoke Ave., Austintown was arrested on a warrant alleging theft.

April 18

Disorderly conduct: Amber Peyatt, 20, 703 Esther Ave., Warren, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Wedgewood Plaza, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.

Theft: Two vehicles were entered and a camera, a GPS, and an I-pod were stolen in the driveway in the 3000 block of Forty Second Street.

Domestic violence: William R. Lewis, 45, 1840 Birch Trace, was arrested on a domestic violence charge at his home.

Theft: A cell phone was stolen at the Economy Inn,1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Burglary: Three televisions, a PS-2 and several other items were taken at a home in the 4000 block of Woodmere Drive.

Burglary: Jewelry was taken from a home in the 1000 block of S. Meridian Road.
