Suspect arrested in Boardman shooting

BOARDMAN — Township police have arrested Casimiro Ellis, 29, of East Avondale Avenue, Youngstown, in the shooting of 31-year-old Alynn Grant. Ellis was arrested late this morning in Warren, police said.

He is being held at the Mahoning County Jail.

The shooting happened at about 4:30 p.m. April 14 at 6592 Mill Creek Blvd., where Grant told police he pulled into his driveway and saw Ellis walking toward him with a gun.
