Road worker killed in Pulaski

PULASKI, PA.

A PennDOT worker was killed Thursday when he fell from a road grader being used along Pa. Route 551 in Pulaski Township, Lawrence County, and then was run over by the grader. Jim Struzzi, a PennDOT spokesman, said the worker, whose name hasn’t been released, was 42 and lived in Ellwood City. The man was a temporary, winter employee who was hired last November. His employment was to end next Friday, Struzzi said. Pulaski Township police are investigating.
