YSU computers disconnected to prevent virus
YOUNGSTOWN — Faculty and staff at Youngstown States University were advised this morning to disconnect their computers from the university network because of what was initially described as a suspected virus.
A YSU spokesman said computers began to be affected between 10 and 11 a.m.
University technicians are working on the problem and hoped to have it resolved by later this afternoon.
The problem wasn’t affecting classes, the spokesman said.
