Goske resigns as Boardman basketball coach

The Boardman boys basketball program is looking for a new coach.

Jim Goske is stepping down after spending three seasons in the top spot. Goske told WFMJ it is for personal reasons.

This season the Spartans finished 7-14. Goske, a Boardman graduate, is also a principal in the school system.

Athletic director Dave Smercansky said the Board of Education will act on the resignation at its next meeting.
