The 2011 Cruze Eco will sport Alcoa wheels, Chevrolet announced Tuesday. Alcoa Automotive Wheels, a Cleveland-based division of Alcoa Wheel and Transportation Products, will supply forged-aluminum wheels for the high-fuel-efficiency model of the Cruze. The lightweight wheels will help the Eco achieve an estimated 40 miles per gallon on the highway, Alcoa said in a press release. Alcoa also provides the wheel program for the Volt, Chevrolet’s electric vehicle.

UnitedHealthcare will extend coverage for graduating students currently under their parents’ plans until the new health-reform provision requiring dependent coverage up to age 26 goes into effect, the company announced this week. UnitedHealthcare will work with employers to ensure that students graduating this spring will stay on their parents’ plans until the provision takes effect Sept. 23. The extension applies to college students who are covered by a parent’s employer-sponsored UnitedHealthcare plan. Dependents enrolled in one of the company’s family health plans already are allowed to stay on the plan until age 26.
