Historical society to sponsor High Tea

AUSTINTOWN

The Austintown Historical Society will have its 17th annual High Tea on Sunday at Austintown’s historic landmark, the Strock Stone House, 7171 Mahoning Ave. Seatings are planned for noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Cost is $14 per person for adults and $7 for children under 12. Reservations must be made by Wednesday.

The menu will feature a variety of teas and coffees, finger sandwiches, scones, pastries and extras that are served during a traditional high tea.

Bone china cups, saucers and dessert plates will complement the lace tablecloths.

Free tours of the Strock Stone House will be conducted after each seating.

There will be a basket raffle with tickets available for $1 each , five for $3 and 15 for $5. Winners need not be present.

Checks should be made payable to Austintown Historical Society and sent to the society at 1181 S. Raccoon Road, Austintown, OH 44515.

Proceeds will benefit the Austintown Historical Society.
