“Glee” (9 p.m., Fox): Madonna fans will get a kick out of the latest episode of “Glee,” which finds the girl singers being disrespected by the boys. As a remedy, Mr. Shuester looks to Madonna and her musical message of equality and confidence. Among the featured songs: “Like a Prayer,” “Express Yourself” and “Like a Virgin.”

Actor Jamie Farr part of lecture series

WARREN

The Trumbull Town Hall lecture series for 2010-11 will include actor Jamie Farr, who played Corporal Klinger on “MASH,” Sept. 29; Cloris Leachman, Emmy and Oscar winning actress, Nov. 10; Tom Gjelten, National Security correspondent, March 2, 2011; and Damaris Peters Pike, actress and impersonator, April 13, 2011.

All programs are at W. D. Packard Music Hall, 1703 Mahoning Ave. N.W. at 10:30 a.m.

Greenville orchestra singing competition

GREENVILLE, Pa.

The finalists in the Greenville Symphony Orchestra’s Rising Stars competition for vocalists have been announced. The finals will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Passavant Center of Thiel College. Admission is $10 at the door. The audience will vote for the winners. The finalists are:

Age 10-15: Brittany Best, Poland, Ohio; Emma Gerasimek, Clark; Erin Hoffacker, Greenville; Nikki Perry, Greenville; Kyle Whelan, Sharpsville; Marissa Works, Hermitage.

Piano recital at YSU

YOUNGSTOWN

Pianist Rika Uchida will present a free lecture-recital at 4 p.m. Sunday in Bliss Recital Hall at Youngstown State University.
