10 apply for part-time McDonald school superintendent's post


McDONALD — The McDonald Board of Education received 10 applications for a new part-time superintendent’s post planned for the district.

The application deadline was April 16.

Initial plans made by the state Financial and Planning Commission overseeing the district’s spending are for the part-time superintendent to work 80 days a year at salary of $24,000 or roughly $300 a day.

Full-time superintendent Michael Wasser has resigned from his post effective July 31. He currently earns $80,755.
