MAHONING COUNTY

Celtic Healthcare offers hot, nutritious meals weekdays at seven locations in Mahoning County for people 60 or older and their spouses, regardless of age. Reservations are required three days in advance, and transportation is available. A $2 donation is suggested per meal. Home-delivered meals are also available for seniors homebound due to illness, injury or handicap.

Wednesday, April 21: Turkey with gravy, broccoli, Capri mixed vegetables, rye bread with margarine, unsweetened applesauce, birthday cake (angel food cake available) and milk.

Thursday, April 22: Southwest meatloaf, cheesy mashed potatoes, peas, wheat bread with margarine, fruited red gelatin (unsweetened available) and milk.

Friday, April 23: Johnny Marzetti, Italian mixed vegetables, tossed salad with Italian dressing, Italian bread with margarine, unsweetened hot apples and milk.

Saturday, April 24: Cold cuts on a bun with mustard and mayonnaise, carrots with ranch dressing, orange, apple juice and milk.

Monday, April 26: Chicken fingers with barbecue sauce, potato spudsters, peas and carrots, wheat bread with margarine, pineapple tidbits and milk.

Tuesday, April 27: Stuffed pepper, mashed potatoes, Corn O’Brien, white bread with margarine, mandarin oranges (unsweetened available) and milk.

TRUMBULL COUNTY

The Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs offers older people a well-balanced meal and an opportunity to share fellowship weekdays at 12 locations in Trumbull County. Reservations must be made two working days in advance. Any person 60 or older or whose spouse is 60 or over is eligible to attend. There is no income requirement. The suggested donation is $1.25 per meal.
