Announcing the engagement of Danielle L. Slater and Raymond M. Boggs Jr., both of 8150 Tod Ave., are their parents.

Miss Slater is the daughter of Richard Slater of 9645 North Lima Road, Poland, and Janet Slater of 1928 Country Club Ave., Youngstown. She is attending National College in Liberty.

Her fianc , son of Ray and Francine Boggs of 356 Longview Drive, Boardman, is employed as a grill cook at Bob Evans in Boardman.

The couple have planned a 1 p.m. ceremony for May 8 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at the Operating Engineers Hall in Boardman.
