ODOT traffic advisory

Ohio Department of Transportation District 4 issued a traffic advisory regarding several new and ongoing construction projects:

State Route 11, Canfield, until further notice, the state Route 11 twin bridges over Indian Run between U.S. Route 224 and Western Reserve Road are reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge work. The work is part of a $1.8 million project for the bridge deck replacement and painting of the Route 11 twin bridges. The entire project is scheduled to be complete by late October.

12th Street, Campbell, until further notice, 12th Street has various lane restrictions in either or both directions between Robinson and Coitsville roads. Traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The work is part of a $400,000 resurfacing project. The project is scheduled to be complete in June.

U.S. Route 62/U.S. Route 422/state Route 7, until further notice, Andrews Avenue between Valley Street and the entrance ramp to Wick Avenue has various daily lane restrictions in either or both directions for bridge painting. The work is part of a $6.6 million project to rehabilitate bridges on U.S. 62/U.S. 422/Route 7 over Crab Creek, Andrews, Valley and the Norfolk Southern Railroad. Bridge deck replacement and sub-structure repairs were completed in 2009. The project is scheduled to be completed in June.

State routes 170 and 616, Poland, Monday until further notice, Route 170 from Lee Run to the northern Poland corporation limit and Route 616 at Route 170 will have various lane restrictions in either or both directions between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. for resurfacing work. The work is the beginning of a $400,000 resurfacing. The project is scheduled to be complete in June.

State Route 193 and U.S. Route 422, until further notice, traffic on Route 193/U.S. 422 eastbound from just west of Crescent Street to west of Belmont Avenue has been shifted to the westbound side until late July. One lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction. In addition, the following ramps will be closed until late July:

The exit ramp from Route 193 eastbound to Crescent. The detour will be Route 193/U.S. 422 eastbound to Belmont to Federal Street to Rayen Avenue to Manning Avenue.

The entrance ramp from Crescent to Route 193 eastbound. The detour will be Manning to Rayen to Federal to Belmont.

The exit ramp from Route 193 eastbound to Route 193 northbound (Wirt Street) and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. (U.S. 422 westbound and Route 289). The detour will be U.S. 422 eastbound to Belmont to U.S. 422 westbound.

Also, Route 193/U.S. 422 is reduced to one lane in each direction from just west of Crescent to just west of Belmont. The work is part of a $10.6 million project to replace guardrail and resurface. The project also includes the rehabilitation to four bridges. The project is scheduled to be completed in August 2011.

U.S. Route 224, Boardman, until further notice, U.S. 224 between Boardman Park Drive and South Avenue will have various daytime lane restrictions while roadway reconstruction occurs. The work is part of a $5.2 million project to widen U.S. 224 through the addition of right turn lanes from Boardman Park to just west of South. The project also includes improvements to 15 traffic signals from Parkside Drive to Tiffany Boulevard. The project is scheduled to be complete this summer.
