Founder’s day dinner at community center

Salem Historical Society is inviting the public to its 40th annual Founders Day Dinner on April 27 at the Salem Community Center on Main Street.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. for viewing of Chinese auction items. Dinner will be served at 6, and a program will be presented at 7:15.
Louis J. Raymond and Samuel G. Krauss Jr. will be honored as Citizens of Honor, and the speaker will be Nancy Goldstein, author of the book, “Jackie Ormes: First African-American Woman Cartoonist.”
Reservations are $20 and are required by Saturday by calling the museum at (330) 337-8514 and leaving a message.
