Cheryl Sampson, David Stefanini are engaged

Dennis J. and Wanda Zavatsky of 1219 Victory Hill Lane, Austintown, and Rodger and Ellen Sampson of Buchanan, Mich., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Cheryl Kristen Sampson, to David Stefanini, both of Avon Lake.

Miss Sampson, a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a business degree, is a business analyst for Goodrich Corp. in Brooklyn Heights.

Mr. Stefanini, a son of Dave and Olga Stefanini of Olmsted Falls, is an Olmsted Township police officer. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he plans to continue his education at Cleveland State University in the fall.

The couple will be married at 3 p.m. May 22 at Olmsted Community Church in Olmsted Falls. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and for an evening reception at Tom’s Country Place in Avon.
