Campbell author to sign first book

Loreatha V. Hawkins of Campbell will sign copies of her first book, “The Prince and the Musical Castle,” from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Acura and Mitsubishi of Boardman, 883 Boardman-Canfield Road.
Authored by Hawkins and featuring artwork by her sister, Arnetta Stokes, the children’s book is about a young prince who, in spite of his limitations, learns to live life to the fullest. It can be purchased online at Amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com, or e-mail lvenita56@aol.com.
There will be balloons and refreshments, and Cynthia Thompson will read the book to children from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Tate Publishing and Enterprises announces that Gerald Mullen, a retired minister from Columbiana County who wrote, “O God, Why am I Crying? Tears On The Heart Of A Hospice Volunteer,” will be signing copies of his book from 1 to 3 p.m. May 15 at the Borders bookstore at 335 Howe Ave., Cuyahoga Falls.
The book is about his life and his work with Hospice of the Valley.
