Quota Club offers memorial award

SALEM

The Mona McArtor Quota Award, established in 1978 as an ongoing memorial to Miss McArtor, a deceased member and past president, is being offered by Salem Quota Club.

Applicants must be a graduating senior or graduate of an area high school, and are required to be enrolled or enrolling in an accredited college or university to major in audiology, speech pathology or deaf education.

Application forms are available from guidance counselors at designated school districts and from Kent State University, the University of Akron and Youngstown State University.

Eligible applicants may also contact Connie Phillips, (330) 332-0121, for forms, which must be completed by May 3 and accompanied by two faculty reference letters.
