“Que Sera Sera: The Life and Music of Doris Day,” a one- woman Mother’s Day show starring Damaris Peters Pike, will be at Stambaugh Auditorium’s Christman Hall at 12:30 p.m. May 9, part of the Sundays at Stambaugh series. The performance will be preceded by a brunch buffet at 11:30 a.m., catered by Rosetta Stone. Parking is free. Orchestra concert

ALLIANCE

The Alliance Symphony Orchestra and Mount Union College will present Solo con Tutti at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Alliance High School Auditorium. The 70-member community and student orchestra will perform works by Berlioz, Bizet, Saint-Saens and Glinka. Scholarship dance

Our Lady of Mount Carmel Festival’s 12th annual scholarship dinner-dance will begin at 6 p.m. May 21, with music by the Al Hreno Band. Tickets are $15. Call Tony Trolio at (330) 757-2779. There will be a full cash bar, and tables of eight can be reserved.

Comedy night

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA.

A night of comedy headlined by national acts Joe Starr and Chris Monty will be next Friday at the Radisson Hotel. The event, sponsored by Primary Health Network Charitable Foundation, will raise money for a transportation program to medical appointments for the needy. It will begin at 7 p.m. with dinner. Christian singer-songwriter Mitch McVicker will present a concert at 6 p.m. April 24 at the former Wellman Theater, 29 W. Liberty St. His Music Connection Band and singer-songwriter Jenah Ross will also perform. Admission is $5.
