David John has grand slam in McDonald win

McDONALD
David John hit a grand slam and doubled to drive in five runs, leading McDonald over Jackson-Milton 13-1 in an Inter Tri-County League baseball game on Thursday.
Anthony Raschilla homered and doubled to drive in four runs for the Blue Devils (7-2, 6-1 ITCL).
Devon Bansberg had two hits while winning pitcher Zach Puntel (1-0) struck out seven. For the Bluejays, Chuckie Anderson singled to drive in their run.
Ursuline 16, Liberty 9
STruthers
Paul Kempe had four hits, including two triples and a double, and drove in four runs for Ursuline. Dom Gore had three hits, two being doubles, and Pete Garthwaite added three hits as well. Harry Finelli got the win for the Irish.
Nate Fader doubled for Liberty, while Mark Seals tripled.
Warren Harding 12, Chaney 2
STRUTHERS
Mitch Lowry went 4 for 4 with two doubles and drove in three to lead Harding at Cene Park.
Tyler Chapin went 3 for 4 with a double, while Joe Sekula and Jordan Miller each had a pair of hits for the Raiders. Matt Kacsandi got the win for Harding.
For Chaney, Rich Mauro went 2 for 2 with a double and Dan Fanzo doubled.
Canfield 9, Niles 2
NILES
Kyle Kesner (2-1) faced 29 batters, striking out 18 of them to get the win for Canfield.
Nick Reinthaler led the Cardinals offensively with two hits, including a double. Ben Angelo and Brad Smith also doubled, and Kyle Vaclav drove in two.
For Niles, Mike Watson went 2 for 3, driving in both runs.
Massillon Perry 10, Fitch 4
AUSTINTOWN
Jake Mowery had four hits, including a double and he scored three runs for the Panthers (8-0, 2-0 Federal League). Andrew Murdoch homered while Cole Tilton and Mitch Manthie tripled.
For the Falcons (3-6, 0-2), Tony Cope and Ralph Testa each had two hits while Anthony Savko and Dan Stiker doubled.
Poland 6, Howland 2
POLAND
Dom Defelice (3-1) was not only a threat to the Tigers on the mound, but offensively as well. Defelice had seven strikeouts, and knocked a three run homer. Colin Reardon doubled and drove in two, while Jim Dobran doubled and Nick Andrews had two hits.
For Howland, Adam Shrodek doubled and Kenny Pozgga had a pair of hits.
Hubbard 9, Jefferson Area 2
JEFFERSON
Bo Slemons and Zach Palumbo led the offensive attack for Hubbard (10-2) against Jefferson (5-5).
Slemons doubled and drove in three runs, while Palumbo tripled and drove in two. Jarrod Seech got the complete-game win, giving up just six hits.
Johnny Knight had two hits for Jefferson.
Struthers 13, Salem 5
STRUTHERS
Anthony Lucas had a triple and two singles with four RBIs, Mike Kunzer had a double and single and three RBIs, and Cory Sass had two singles and two RBIs for Struthers (6-4, 1-0 AAC).
The Wildcats were ignited by a seven-run fourth inning. Senior Vince Cavanaugh (2-0) had six strikeouts.
Nick Balsley and Brendan Webb both had a triple and single for Salem (2-7, 0-2).
Springfield 8, Sebring 0
NEW MIDDLETOWN
Dylon DeJane’s three hits included a double. He scored two runs and drove in another for the Tigers (8-4).
Winning pitcher Cody Pitzo (1-0) struck out four batters and walked none.
