April 1

Recovered property: A 20-inch bicycle was stolen from Watson Elementary School, 225 Idaho Road.

Warrant: Police issued a warrant for Krystal L. Vinion, 29, of 936 Plazaview Court, Youngstown, on a charge of failure to appear on a burglary charge.

Noise complaint: Police responded to a noise complaint of a large, loud party at a home in the 5000 block of Willowcrest Drive.

April 2

Warrant: Police arrested Latora J. Dawson, 23, of 127 Wesley Ave., Youngstown, on a warrant charging assault.

Curfew violation: Six male juveniles were arrested on curfew violations on Nottingham Avenue.

Auto theft: A 1998 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was stolen at a home in the 1000 block of Paisley Street.

Fraud: An attempt was made to access a debit card at a home in the 200 block of South Yorkshire Boulevard.

Menacing: A Pittsburgh woman is accused of menacing at a home in the 4000 block of Norquest Boulevard.

Menacing: A juvenile girl is accused of menacing at a home in the 100 block of Country Green Drive.

Theft: Jewelry was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Brandomyne Avenue.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges were made to an account at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Misuse of credit card: A credit card was either lost or stolen from a woman in the 3000 block of Canfield-Niles Road and used in transactions at unidentified locations.

April 3

Recovered property: A bicycle was recovered at Veterans Park, South Wickliffe Circle.

Theft: Police arrested three people in the theft of $7.95 in candy bars and other charges at Sheetz gas station,5499 Mahoning Ave., and issued them summonses. Alexis Bonamase, 21, of 513 Wilcox Road, Austintown, was charged with theft; Dominique Bonamase, 19, of 7448 Drury Lane, Canfield, was charged with complicity to theft; and Stephen Jones, 21, of 6731 Tippecanoe Road, Canfield, was charged with complicity to theft and possession of drugs, including Ecstacy and OxyContin.

Disorderly conduct: Police issued a summons to Shawn M. Hudson, 38, of 987 Compass West Drive, Austintown, on a charge of disorderly conduct in the 1000 block of South Raccoon Road.

Assault: A man was assaulted at the Go-Go Cabaret, 5455 Clarkins Drive.

Drug offense: Police charged Brent Coleman, 23, of 2927 Niles-Carver Road, Niles, with possession of drug paraphernalia, including a syringe and the bottom of a pop can, and possession of heroin after making the arrest at Mahoning Avenue and Meridian Road.

Criminal damaging: Someone used a key to damage a vehicle’s fender at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damage: A tire was slashed on a vehicle at a home in the 2000 block of North Main Street.

Criminal damaging: Vandals damaged a vehicle and portions of a home in the 4000 block of Webb Road.

Drug offense: Police charged Scott Harker, 24, of 4022 Evaline St., Warren, with drug abuse for possession of OxyContin after an arrest at South Raccoon and Burkey roads.

Breaking and entering: Numerous items were taken from a home in the 1000 block of South Main Street.

April 4

Menacing: A woman was threatened by a man at a home in the 20 block of North Four Mile Run Road.

Breaking and entering: Davis Elementary School, 4302 Maple Ave., was broken into.

Menacing: A man was threatened by his son at a home in the 6000 block of Meander Run.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Brenda Kaczmark, 48, of 1182 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty, on a charge of possession of suspected marijuana after her arrest at Meridian Road and Oakwood Avenue. April 5

Theft: Games, glasses and miscellaneous paperwork were stolen from an auto at a home in the 200 block of Third Street.

Theft: A steel token was stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Hendricks Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel Badger,30, 13731 State Highway 18, Conneaut Lake, Pa.on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment, and also issued him a summons for drug abuse of marijuana after finding a small bag of suspected marijuana on him on Westchester Drive.

April 6

Warrant: Police arrested Daniel R. Farrah, 49, 7815 Akron-Canfield Rd., Canfield on two felony warrants for passing bad checks.

Criminal damaging: Lawn damage was reported at a home in the 2000 block of N. Navarre Ave.

Recovered stolen property: A semi tractor trailer was recovered at Club 76, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.

April 7

Theft: Prescription medication was stolen at a home in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.

Criminal damaging: Two windows were damaged by rocks at Woodside Elementary School,4105 Elmwood Ave.

Recovered property: A wallet and I.D. were recovered at Aldi’s, 5683 Mahoning Ave.

Warrant: Police arrested Elijah Jackson, 25, 1486 Woodcrest Drive, Youngstown, on a warrant for assault and criminal damaging.

Lost or stolen purse: A purse and it’s contents were reported missing.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in an incident of road rage in the 4000 block of Mahoning Ave.

April 8

Burglary: A television, X-Box and $1,500 in cash were stolen from a home in the 80 block of Rosemont Avenue.

Attempted breaking and entering: A rock was thrown through a glass door at the Meating Place, 4282 New Road.

Criminal damaging: A rear window of a vehicle was smashed out with a large rock at a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Counterfeit currency: Six $5 bills were passed at Conroy’s Express, 3670 S. Meridian Road.

Criminal mischief: A vehicle alarm system was tampered with at a home in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Drive.

Theft: A credit card was reported stolen after it had been used to purchase two $1,500 gift cards at the Austintown Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave. The owner, a resident of the ten block of Crabwood Court, was also contacted by Hermitage, Pa. police that the gift cards had been redeemed at the Wal-Mart there.

Theft: Jewelry was given to a customer in error. Only a partial amount was returned at Austintown Pawn, 3700 Mahoning Ave.

April 9

Drug Offense/Warrants: Police arrested two men on warrants and a drug charge in the 400 block of Westgate Boulevard. Michael Hover, Jr., 19, 1854 Paisley St., Apt. 10, Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant on a theft charge and was also charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument, a syringe. Michael Pendland, 22, 261 1/2 S. Main Street was arrested on a warrant on a charge of breaking and entering.

Disorderly conduct: James Campana,39, 4823 Westchester Drive, was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at apartments in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: Checks reported stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Lanterman Road were used at Wal-Mart.

Theft: $39.69 in fuel was stolen at Country Fair, 1143 N. Niles-Canfield Road.

Theft: Two stereos were stolen from an auto in the 4000 block of Deer Creek Court.

Fraud: Unauthorized charges to an account were reported at a home in the 4000 block of Fitzgerald Avenue.

Theft: Matt D. Schall, 44, 37 N. Turner Rd., Austintown was arrested for theft of scrap metal at Austintown Metal Works, 45 Victoria Road.

Assault: A woman is a suspect in an assault at a home in the 200 block of S. Raccoon Road.

April 10

Warrant: Caprice Cornwell, 19, 369 Marmion Ave., Youngstown, was arrested on a warrant for telecommunications harassment at I-76 and State Route 14.

Disorderly conduct: Brian Grandon, 29, 219 Scott Ave., Niles was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at the Babylon, 114 Javit Court.

Disorderly conduct: Michelle Childers, 26, 1650 Laurie Drive was issued a summons for disorderly conduct at Davidson’s, 3636 Canfield Road.

Burglary: A voice recorder was taken at a home in the 3000 block of Timberlane Street.

Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of N. Beacon Drive.

Warrant: Kenny Childs, 25,737 E. Avendale, Youngstown was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear to pay fines at Mahoning Ave. and Meridian Road.

Theft: $24.48 in fuel and $5.30 in cigarettes were taken at Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road by a male suspect.

Warrant: Tiant Bright, 34, 450 Idora Ave., Youngstown was arrested on a felony warrant from Lorain County on a indictment for felonious assault, assault and obstruction of official business at State Route 11 at Mahoning Ave.

Criminal trespassing: Cody Hilton, 19, 712 Notre Dame Lane, Austintown was arrested and issued a summons for criminal trespassing in the 1000 block of Compass West Drive.

April 11

Attempted abduction: An unknown male attempted to pull a 16-year-old female out of a vehicle at The Manor, 3104 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

Passing bad checks: A man is a victim of bad checks at a home in the 3000 block of Briarwood Lane.

Burglary: Electronic equipment, jewelry, coins and prescription medications were stolen from a home in the 6000 block of Purdue Ave.

Drug offense: Abigail Patek, 20, 2509 Walden Court, Youngstown was arrested on charges of drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 20 block of Lexington Place.

Theft: A man is accused of taking the victim’s ATM card at a home in the 2000 block of S. Main Street.
