Angels to present annual style show

Angels of Easter Seals is inviting the public to attend “Springtime Bouquet,” its 33rd annual spring luncheon and style show, on May 6 at Mr. Anthony’s.

Doors will open at 10 a.m. for a social to be followed by an 11:30 luncheon and a fashion show coordinated and narrated by Judy Conti, assisted by Mary Dulay.

The guest of honor will be Dr. Cynthia E. Anderson, who will assume the office of president at Youngstown State University on July 1, and featured will be local media personalities and Easter Seals children, who will model the latest fashions for spring and summer.

Cindy Matthews will narrate the media style show, and Bob Black will be master of ceremonies, both of WFMJ. The media models include Todd Franko, Barbara Shaffer and Nena Perkins of The Vindicator; Lauren Lindvig, Madonna Chism Pinkard and Mike Case, also of WFMJ; Amy Radinovic, Dee Crawford, Whitney Ward and Jeff Levkulich, all of WKBN; Niki Wierich, Greta Mittereder and Stan Boney, all of WYTV; Bill Castrovince of My Valley Sports; and A.C. McCullough and Kelly Stevens, both of HOT 101.

Fashions will be presented by Dillard’s, Coldwater Creek, Eastwood Mall and Suzanne’s Tennis and Golf of Boardman. Also shown will be the runway collection of Youngstown native Nanette Lepore, some of which will be auctioned during the show. Hairstyles and makeup will be by Casal’s de Spa and Salon of Canfield.

There will be a raffle for such prizes as $1,000, gift certificates, a diamond ring, gift baskets and savings bonds. There will also be a 50-50 auction and an auction in the bag for gift baskets, jewelry and a 2010 American Girl Doll.

Tickets for the event are $35 per person and $45 for a patron. For an invitation call the Easter Seals Center at (330) 743-1168. Proceeds will benefit Easter Seals of Mahoning, Columbiana and Trumbull counties.
