Diana’s triple sparks Falcons rally in 7th
Warren
Returning from an illness that kept him out of the lineup for most of the year, Austintown Fitch’s J.D. Diana made his presence known with a triple in the top of the seventh inning and started a rally. The Falcons scored three runs in the frame, and went on to win 5-1, over Warren Harding on Wednesday.
Anthony Piras and Chris Miller each had three of the Falcons dozen hits, and both had an RBI.

NEW MIDDLETOWN
Carmen Tarantino and Anthony O’Nesti hit solo homers for the Spartans. Sam Porter’s three hits included a double, and he scored two runs and drove in two more. Dustin Corso’s two hits drove in two runs.
For the Tigers (7-4), Jake Noble’s two hits included a double while Joey Ohlin knocked in two runs.
Struthers 10, Campbell 0
STRUTHERS
The Wildcats had 11 hits and Roman Salinas pitched a one-hitter. Mike Kunzer hit a triple and double for Struthers, while Tyler Serich and Cory Sass added two-baggers.
LaBrae 9, Champion 8 (9 inn.)
LEAVITTSBURG
Senior Mike Morris (1-2) pitched two innings of shutout ball to get the win and Morris’ double scored Alex Warne from first with no outs in the bottom of the ninth to end the game.
Senior Todd Collins had a double and three singles, Morris finished with a double and two singles and senior Greg Gibson had a home run and single for LaBrae (2-6, 1-1 AAC Blue).
Coulter and Yartz had two singles apiece for Champion.
Hubbard 14, Salem 6
SALEM
Bo Slemons homered and doubled twice to drive in six runs for the Eagles (9-2).
Tim Schiraldi also had three hits, and drove in two runs. Matt Shelton hit two doubles, Tommy Jackson tripled while Todd Gasior and Kory Hopkinson doubled.
For the Quakers (2-6) S. Wyand drove in two runs.

For Youngstown Christian (1-6), Anthony Abeid tripled and scored.

South Range scored three runs in the top of the seventh and then held off Ridge.
Anthony Pannunzio finished with two hits for the Rams (5-4).
For the Raiders, Arsuffi had a triple and single and Andy Lacefield had two singles.

Nate Rice scattered six hits and Vince Murray doubled for the Aviators (10-2, 4-1 Northeastern Buckeye Conference). For the Warriors (6-4, 2-3), Mickey Manser doubled and drove in two runs.

John Rosati’s three hits included a double and drove in four runs for the Blue Devils. Thomas Benyo’s two hits included a solo homer. John Gora and Eric Kennehan has had two hits. Winning pitcher Nick Timko (4-0) struck out 13 batters and walked one. For the Tigers, Nunzio Lombardozzi had two hits.

Senior Anthony Raschilla went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs, senior David John went 3-for-4 with an RBI and senior Conor Banyon had a single and batted in two runs for Mcdonald (6-2, 5-1 ITCL Tier Two).
Colella had a triple and Altomare had two hits and two RBIs for Leetonia.

Cory Barnhouse had a home run for the Bulldogs, and Shane Jurjavcic had four RBIs on two hits. Jordan Hostetter contributed two base hits and scored both times.

THOMPSON
Collin Bowser and Rick Sommers combined to toss a five-inning one-hitter. Sommers and Nate Homan doubled for the Mustangs (10-2, 5-0 Northeast Athletic Conference), Reed Shields and Jim Hoffman each had three hits.

STRUTHERS
Dante Lewis went two for three with three RBIs, including the game-winner in the bottom of the sixth on Tuesday. Boo Vazquez picked up the win in relief for the Cardinals (8-2), and he also went 2 for 2 at the plate with two RBIs. Harding is 5-3.
