Beaver school board, union agree on new pact
LISBON — The Beaver school board and the Ohio Association of Public School Employees have agree to a new contract that includes a wage freeze for the 2010-11 school year.
OAPSE Local 564 ratified the pact on Tuesday, and the board approved the agreement Wednesday. The old agreement was to expire June 30.
OAPSE represents bus drivers, cafeteria workers, custodians, paraprofessionals, and secretaries.
