ANGELS FOR ANIMALS

Angels for Animals, another organization that helps animals, has its largest fundraiser this week. The organization, in Greenford, hosts its 16th annual garage sale Friday through Sunday at the Canfield Fairgrounds. Last year’s sale netted $58,000. Wares include furniture, books, toys, small appliances, kitchen tools, pictures, antiques, clothing and glassware.

10 a.m. to noon Friday with a $5 early-bird charge, and from noon to 7 p.m. Friday, when bargain hunters get in for $1.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, $1; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, free; and 3:15 to 5 p.m. Sunday, also free.

Sunday, there will be a $5 charge for general clearance and a $5 charge for antiques clearance.
