Delphi to partner with ClipperCreek

Delphi Corp. will partner with ClipperCreek Inc., a developer of electric-vehicle-charging technology, to develop, manufacture and sell electric-vehicle charging stations for all-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. The partnership will couple Delphi’s experience providing electrical distribution systems and connectors for the auto industry with ClipperCreek’s charging systems, Randy Sumner, director of global hybrid-vehicle development for Delphi Packard, said in a press release.

Wind-turbine projects to be topic

Greg Courtney, owner of Wind Turbines of Ohio in Alliance, Ohio, will give a presentation at the Youngstown & Warren Inventors Association meeting tonight at 7 at the Liberty Township Administration Building. Courtney will explain the company’s work on residential and commercial wind-turbine projects in Ohio and Pennsylvania, including inspection, site preparation and installation. Courtney also will discuss how the company uses energy grants to fund up to 50 percent of project costs. The meeting is open to the public.
