REUNIONS | Former classmates plan get-togethers

Berlin Center-Western Reserve Alumni will have its 78th annual banquet May 8 at Western Reserve High School. The social will be at 6:30 p.m. with dinner at 7. The cost is $10. Campbell Memorial High School Class of 1956 will meet for brunch at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bedford Trails in Coitsville. Guests are welcome.

Chalker High School Alumni Association will have a banquet April 24 at Roby Lee’s in Newton Falls. Doors open at 5 p.m., and dinner will be at 6. The cost is $15. East High School Class of 1960 has plans nearly completed for a 50th reunion. There will be an informal gathering Aug. 13 at the Holiday Inn, Boardman, and a dinner and dance Aug. 14 at Tippecanoe Country Club. Invitations will be mailed.

Lordstown Alumni Association will have its 97th annual banquet May 8 at Lordstown Elementary School, 1776 Salt Springs Road, Lordstown. After the 5:30 p.m. social, dinner will be served at 7.

Warren Junior Military Band Alumni Association will have a quarterly trustee meeting on Saturday at Caf Cimmento, 120 E. Boardman St., Youngstown. Breakfast will start at 9 a.m., and the meeting will be at 10. All former band members are urged to attend. Plans will be made for a summer picnic.
